111 FRONT ST. Walk Across the Brookly Bridge  The very best way to get to DUMBO is to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge from downtown Manhattan.
1. From City Hall cross Park Row to get on the pedestrian walkway across the bridge.
         -- Watch out for tourists! --
2. When you get to the Brooklyn side the pathway will split. Take the unmarked pathway to the left, which goes down a flight of stairs to Washington St.
3. Turn left on Washington St. and walk 2 blocks to Front St.
4. Cross Front and turn right. 111 Front St. is the big orange doorway in the middle of the block.

Time: 20 to 30 minutes, depending on how many people ask you to take their picture.

Take a bus to DumboB-25 to Water & Main Streets

  The B-25 bus runs from Broadway Junction in East New York to Dumbo. It runs along Fulton St. to Borough Hall then along Cadman Plaza East and Old Fulton St. to its last stop at Water and Main.
From Water and Main walk one block away from the East River to Front St. Turn left and walk one and a half blocks to 111 Front St.

B-61 to Gold and York Streets

 The westbound B-61 bus runs from Long Island City, Greenpoint and Williamsburg. The eastbound bus runs from Red Hook, along Columbia St. to Atlantic Ave then past Borough Hall. The closest bus stop either way is at the corner of Gold St. and York. From the bus stop walk one block towards the East River to Front St. Turn left and walk two blocks and under the Manhattan Bridge. 111 Front St. is the big orange doorway one half block beyond the bridge.

   Eastbound you may want to exit at Jay St. and Tillary, and walk down Cadman Plaza East, which becomes Washington St. to Front St. Turn left at Front and go one-half block to 111 Front St.

B-69 to Jay and Sands Streets

  The B-69 bus runs from Windsor Terrace along Prospect Park West, past Grand Army Plaza to Vanderbilt Ave, then down to Jay St and Sands. From Jay and Sands walk towards the East River along Jay St. Turn left at Front St, then walk under the Manhattan Bridge. 111 Front St. is one half block beyond the bridge.

B-51 to Tillary and Cadman Plaza W 

  On weekdays only the B-51 runs across the Manhattan Bridge from City Hall along Park Row and the Bowery in Manhattan to Tillary St. at Cadman Plaza West. Walk down Cadman Plaza West towards the river to Front St. Turn left, 111 Front St. is halfway down the block.

111 FRONT ST.Take a Subway to Dumbo The F, A, C , 2 & 3 trains all have stations within a short walk of the 111 Front Street Galleries.

                 F: York St. Station.

1. Use the exit at the rear of the train (from Manhattan), this will emerge on Jay St. close to York.
2. Turn right, and walk downhill along Jay St. for one block to Front St.
3. Cross Front and turn left, walk under the Manhattan Bridge. 111 Front St. is the big orange doorway, midblock after the bridge. Time: 5 minutes.

    A and C: High St./Brooklyn Bridge

1. Use the exit at the rear of the train (from Manhattan), this will bring you to Cadman Plaza West, near Middagh St.
2. Cross Cadman Plaza West and take the pathway across the park to Washington St. (Cadman Plaza East.)
3. Turn left on Washington St. and walk 2 and a half blocks downhill to Front St.
4. Cross Front St. and turn right. 111 Front St. is the big orange entryway in the middle of the block.Time: 7 minutes.

            2 and 3: Clark St Station.

1. Take the elevator up to the street, turn left after the turnstiles and exit on Henry St. 2. Turn left on Henry St. and start to walk downhill towards the bridges.
3. Cross Henry St. and take the pathway through the Co-op houses at Cranberry St.
4. Cross Cadman Plaza West and take the pathway across the park to Washington St. (Cadman Plaza East).
5. Turn left on Washington St. and walk downhill 2 and a half blocks to Front St.
6. Turn right, 111 Front St. is the big orange entryway in the middle of the block. Time: 10 minutes.

111 FRONT ST.Take a Taxi to DumboFrom Manhattan via the
Manhattan Bridge.

Stay to the right on the Manhattan bridge and take the first exit (sign says "to BQE".) Bear right onto Jay St. Stay to the left for two blocks, turn left at Sands St. Stay to the extreme right, Sands turns right into Adams St. Follow Adams two blocks and get off at the corner of Adams and Front. 111 Front is one-half block to the left

From Manhattan via the
Brooklyn Bridge.

Stay to the right on the Brooklyn Bridge and take the first exit (sign says "to BQE".) Bear right onto Cadman Plaza East, then immediately turn right onto Prospect St. Go one block to Cadman Plaza West / Washington St. (not marked!) and turn left. Go two blocks along Washington St. to Front. Turn right, 111 Front St. is halfway down the block in on the left side of the street.

Drive to Dumbo
From the Verazzano Bridge
via the
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway I-278.

  Follow the BQE to Exit 28a - Cadman Plaza West this merges into Hicks Street. Turn right at Cadman Plaza West, (this is only way you can go.) Immediately turn left at the next intersection, Prospect St. one block to Cadman Plaza West / Washington St. (not marked!) and turn left. Go two blocks along Washington St. to Front. Turn right, 111 Front St. is halfway down the block on the left side of the street.

From the Long Island, Westchester and New England via the BQE I-278

  Follow the BQE to Exit 28 - Cadman Plaza West. Bear Right and take the ramp marked Kane St. Container Port Turn right onto Old Fulton St. and then almost immediately turn right onto Front St. 111 Front St is three blocks down Front St. between Washington and Adams.

From New Jersey via the Holland Tunnel

  Exit for either the Brooklyn Bridge or Canal St. (Manhattan Bridge) then follow the taxi directions above.

Parking

  There is some street parking available and there are several large lots nearby. There is a parking garage in the 111 Front St. building - enter on Adams St. between Front and Water. From there take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
